Fishing Report 12-22-14

Lake Berryessa - Spots, Largies, and Smallies... oh my!

Great day at Berryessa with Dad. Remember ladies and gentlemen, spend time with your fathers!

We caught a good number of fish, probably 15 between the two of us. Our 5 bass limit probably went around 15 lbs. Caught fish on D-Shots, tubes, and jigs. There wasn't much of a pattern, but the bites were soft and nearly undetectable. Large fish for the day was a 4 1/2 lb largemouth, 3 lb Spotted Bass, a probably 3or4  2 1/2 lb Smallies.

 Anderson Reservoir


Winter bass fishing is primo right now at reservoirs like Anderson. Most of the fish were caught on drop shotted tiny flukes

Fishing hot spots were main lake points and flats with chunk rock as well as the the chunky rock by the dam! Email me for more info!

So here is the agenda for the meeting:

Announcement: New website (what you are on) and New forum/group 
You can see on the right hand pane of this site that there are links to the forum and a link to the Resource page which has a link to our Google Drive page

1) Distribute T-Shirts
         They came in and they look great. Make sure to pick up what you paid for
2) Raffle give-away
         You will enter your names in for a small holiday tackle give-a-way. Mr. T cleaned out his tackle box and found some stuff you all might appreciate.
3) Discuss Rod-Loaner program
         I will be creating 5 rod/reel combos for club and personal use. They will be kept at Leland and available for check out.
4) Continue - Bass: The Movie
        Awesome video with footage from around California that examines why Largemouth are the most popular gamefish
