Almaden Lake Cleanup

Hello Club Members,

We are getting out for a couple of hours on Sunday to clean up our local watershed. This is a great service opportunity and I will be able to sign off for community service hours. Here are the details:

• Where: Almaden Lake Park - meeting on the winfield entry side
• What: Community service and fishing
• When: Sunday April 26th 9:00-11:00 AM

Almaden Reservoir and Delta Updates

Hope you are having a nice break!  Pulled a massive crappie out of Almaden Reservoir today, off a small swim bait!  Thought you might enjoy!  Did not get a chance to weigh or measure, but from comparison of my arm he seemed a little over 14-15 inches.                                                  -Stefan

The Delta

Senkos rule the delta bite. Color of bait did not seem to matter, but fish were coming off of sparse tule clusters. My friend Nick and I went out on Monday and the my friend Calvin fished with a buddy of his on Friday and caught nice fish also.

Delta Report - March 2015

Fished pretty shallow most of the day. Water was stained. Bluegill were everywhere. The bass were chewing! Not hot and heavy action but some good ones. Also, we saw one fish on a spawning bed and hooked it twice.

This is the time club members. It is now or never. Spring is here and lines need to be in the water to capitalize.
